The development in the Southern part of Metro Manila is growing at an amazing speed. Sky-high office building and condominiums, huge malls, modern hospitals and swanky hotels are opening front, back and center. There are so many places to go to but there is one establishment here that we are zeroing in and this is a hotel that we want to introduce to you. We know that when you stay here or dine here, you will be very satisfied and this is none other than “B Hotel Alabang“.

This large, gorgeous painting “welcomes” guests of B Hotel.
The spacious lobby is well lit with natural light. Come night time, it is transformed into a very elegant space with mirror-like, shiny floor. The staff are welcoming, courteous and very attentive.
At the basement of the building is the Pastry Corner which has become very famous because of their own version of the classic Filipino favorite “Ensaymada.”
So I tried their ensaymada, and I instantly fell in love with it, especially the variant with a slice of leche flan on the top. They were able to retain the moisture on the inside so it was like heaven to me. Sooo sarap!
I can’t wait to check in to my room! I got a room good for two but since there were three of us, we requested for an extra bed and pillows.
I liked their elevator security. To reduce the risks of intruders being able to reach the hotel rooms, each elevator passenger is required to scan their card keys to make sure that only authorized people are the ones using the lift.
The hallway temperature was good. When I say good, it’s not super hot and not super cold just like the other hotels/condominiums that I have visited. I like the dim lights of the corridor – not too bright and not too dark.
Finally we got to our room! It was indeed love at first sight. Super clean and comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, crispy-soft sheets and mood lighting.
There’s a flat screen television with local and cable channels. On the work table, you will find a reading lamp, writing pad, desk calendar, reed diffuser, compendium and hotel brochure .
The closet was enough to hang our clothes. There’s a safety deposit box and one bathrobe.
The rooms are provided with four bottles of mineral water, coffee and tea service (including Splenda).
The mini ref is enough to keep our food safe from spoilage.
We also had fresh fruits courtesy of B Hotel. Love it!
The restroom was clean and smelled as good as it looked. The toilet bowl works well though the flush button needed a bit more pressure when pressed because it is still new. There is also a bidet which most hotels are now installing to make our toilet business more “hassle-free.”
Toiletries provided: bath gel, lotion, shaving kit, toothbrush and soap. We love their green tea scented shampoo and conditioner!
The shower area had sufficient space. Not too large for unnecessary space and not too small for it to be cramped. Hot and cold water worked efficiently.
I have tested their free WiFi speed on a weekday and it was impressive! Download speed is 10 Mbps and upload speed is 4 Mbps.
Breakfast buffet at Prime Café (ground floor) starts at 6:00 am and what a great way to start the day! The coffee shop was airy, cool, clean, uncluttered and modern.
We love crispy dangit! We paired it with hot and steamed rice. I can’t even remember how many pieces I consumed.
Their “home-made” sausage selection is plentiful – kielbasa, bratwurst, Hungarian, etc in mini sizes
Scrambled eggs are delicious especially with “everything on it” and served hot!
Super filling potato wedges!
All in all, our B Hotel experience was so good that an overnight stay was not enough. We love the rooms and the comfortable beds and pillows. WiFi connection is ultra fast and we were so happy about it. We enjoyed the breakfast selection and the egg station (I really love omelettes)! There is no swimming pool and gym on the other hand.
For your next “staycation” or short business trip in south Manila, you MUST try B Hotel Alabang. Also, you may want to check out our dining experience at B Hotel’s very own Prime Café Restaurant through this link. Love their new Filipino dishes!
