They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. There’s even a saying that one should “eat like a King for breakfast…a prince for lunch, and a pauper for dinner”. Over at The Pinnacle Hotel and Suites in Davao City, you may “eat like a king” from their breakfast buffet which is offered every morning with a good selection of viands (usually Filipino cuisine), breads and other goodies.
The Coffee Shop is located at the ground floor, just off the lobby (left side). You won’t miss it.

The selection is very filling and aplenty. They have cereals and fruits for health buffs. You can actually make delicious muesli if you like.
The “Salad Station” is where you can make your own delicious salad using your preferred dressing. Right next to it is the “Fruit Station”
They have several kinds of bread, from the very Pinoy “pan de sal” to whole wheat, loaf, etc., etc.
Maple syrup, several jams, butter, cheese, all available to make your pancake more delicious. Several types of donuts are also “up for grabs”.
If it’s a warm soup you like, you may choose from either the delicious Asian Congee or the very flavorful Pinoy pride Batchoy. You can also choose which ingredient you want to put in your soup.
There is an “Egg Station” which makes perfect omelettes with your choice of bacon, cheese, mushroom etc inclusions or have your egg sunny-side-up, over easy, soft or hard boiled, etc.
The scrambled eggs are fluffy. The other viands include the very popular “danggit” (small dried fish fried to perfect crispiness), hash browns, steamed veggies, rice…
…pork chop, pork ham, chicken tocino and fried “dilis” (small anchovies) all great when eaten with rice.
The “Lemonade and Iced-tea Station” where you can get as much as you want…
For dessert, there is a “Fruit Station” which offers fresh fruits in season. Davao is known to grow very sweet fruits so you shouldn’t miss this one out.
Therefore, if you happen to be in Davao and looking for a good breakfast buffet to jump start your day, The Pinnacle’s “Breakfast Buffet” is worth it. Also, don’t forget to check out our official review of The Pinnacle Hotel and Suites in Davao City through this link.
