SM Aura has been one of our favored hang out places when in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). We really love the place, especially the shops, restaurants and their sky park which is certainly a great place to catch up with friends and to simply hang out.
And since coffee is a part of our life, we have listed our favourite coffee shops in SM Aura. We have also included details like the perfect cake to be paired to your cup of coffee and some great deals to be able to grab a discount.
Providore serves delicious ice blended coffee blends in a tall glass.
They have several coffee variants for your daily caffeine fix: espresso, machiato, cappuccino and other specialty coffee.
We were so happy to discover a lot of Filipino made local products here at Providore. I like these independent products because most of them are made with good quality and lots of care.

PAPER MOON CAFE
Paper Moon is acclaimed to be among the finest and best desserts in Tokyo. The mille crepe made them so popular but I didn’t knew that they also serve delicious coffee. I like to stay at their place in SM Aura. So peaceful and relaxing because there are a very few people on this spot.
Check out their strawberry shortcake. The chiffon was moist and the strawberries are imported from the US. It’s my new favorite!

NHA EM VIETNAMESE CUISINE
Here at SM Aura, we discovered one of the most unique way to brew coffee. Nha Em serves traditional Vietnamese coffee where coarsely ground beans go into a French drip filter which sits on top of the cup. It goes perfectly with the sweetened condensed milk.
We love this idea. The time that it requires to slowly drip the coffee is already enough to start a good conversation whether to your friend or to your loved one(s).

LAVA CHEESE TARTS
It’s good to know that we have our very own version of the famous cheese tarts from Japan. Every ingredient is locally sourced in the Philippines, yet the cheesy and creamy taste was so evident. It’s totally addicting and I can’t resist to order another piece!
I love Lava Tops: classic cheese tarts with fruity toppings that you can choose: Blueberries, Stewed Apples, Baguio Strawberries, Salted Caramel, and Mangoes.
Lava Cheese Tarts is not just proud of using Filipino cheese and milk, they also serve coffee the Pinoy way. 100% of the coffee that they serve here are affordable and delicious, sourced from local beans in Mindoro, Bukidnon, Bulacan and the Mount Matumtum in Cotabato.
Tired of drinking coffee? Here’s a refreshing treat: Lava cheese soft served ice cream in a cone! I love this one! So milky and tasty. However, be careful because it might overpower your taste buds (too tasty and too creamy). As an alternative, you may order your ice cream in a cup, and choose a fruity topping to balance off the taste.

Cibo, which is originally famous for their world class Italian pasta and pizza also serves delicious coffee. We enjoy eating and chilling at their veranda / open space at the back of the restaurant.
For me, the perfect pair for their coffee is the Tiramisu Croccante with crunch. It’s not so sweet so I really love it.

MENTORE COFFEE + BAR BY UCC
Mentore Cafe is one of the coffee stores by UCC. It has the most number of coffee variants and brewing methods available among the other UCC stores in the metro (syphon, pour over, water drip, french press and espresso).
Their Coffee & Liqueur Connoisseurs is to watch out for. If you love coffee and wine, this is your ultimate “to go” spot in SM Aura.
Another interesting item from the Coffee & Liqueur Connoisseurs selection: The Baileys with Sumiyaki beans, water drip method. This is worth a try!
And of course, our favourite is the “Willy Wonka” – espresso coffee, vodka, frangelico, toffee, vanilla, half and half, lemon zest and chocolate. The glass is rimmed with sugar so each sip is sweet and super yummy! Get this for “buy one take one” every weekends!
Another crowd favorite from their menu is their nachos made of tortilla chips, pulled pork, cheese and BBQ sauce with veggies.

THE COFFEE BEAN AND TEA LEAF
The CBTL branch in SM Aura is one of the best branches there is. We really love to stay at the sky garden where we get to see a lot of greens. Very refreshing and relaxing spot.
Of course, their coffee is best paired with their ever famous Blueberry Cheesecake.
Our other friends love their Triple Decker Cheesecake as well.

Grind Bistro is not just famous for their burgers, they also serve delicious coffee.
Here, we also learned the basics on how to make your own espresso by Paolo Wong, General Manager for Bean and Barley.
We love their ube flan as well! A perfect match to our cup of coffee.

Indeed, most of our favorite coffee spots are here in SM Aura. I really love the place and I really keep on coming back. There are many stores to choose from and to discover. I know that my list is incomplete so please leave a comment and let us know if we forgot your fave!
