Stella’s unique facade is a nice eclectic marriage of country and modern interior design. At night, when all of its lights are open, it exudes a very cozy ambiance.
At the center of Stella is a nice flower arrangement of faux cymbidiums, oncidiums and lilies.
Stella has an “open kitchen” – a favorite feature of ours because you can see how everything is prepared and how everyone moves.
We found the “plancha de uling” or “charcoal flat iron” a cute design novelty. Most millennials don’t know what it is for. Now let’s take a look into Rocket Room…
Rocket Room’s interior is a fusion of country, modern and a bit of Mediterranean designs. We love the cow hide on the backrest of the chairs – it reminded me of those bars in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Don’t we all love mirror balls?
Tropicales (non-alcoholic drink) – PHP 195.00 +
This was one of the most refreshing drinks that we’ve had from Rocket Room. The Tropicales was made with pineapple, watermelon, guava juice, fresh cut fruits and berries. We love those drinks that have layers on them.
The Stella Sip (non-alcoholic drink) – PHP 125.00 +
We enjoyed drinking this signature iced tea that we ordered from Rocket Room. It was made with fresh fruits, lemon and honey. It was so refreshing when mixed with crushed ice, and yes, the red color is amazing!
Crispy Pork Belly Chips – PHP 250.00 +
We are not a big fan of fried chips (due to health reasons) but we will cheat on our diet with this one. Their version of pork belly chips was extremely crispy, even after several minutes of taking pictures. Dip each piece with the special pinakurat vinegar and you will realize one bowl is not enough for the whole barkada / family. Definitely recommended while waiting for your pizza and pasta orders.
Housemade Chorizo and Garlic Pasta – PHP 295.00 +
This was super delicious! We love eating pasta in a bowl (because it felt more comfortable than the traditional pasta plate). The veggies were super fresh and we totally loved it. The pasta was cooked al dente, best paired with slices of homemade chorizo meat.
Each bite was super yummy and garlicky. It was a total value for money!
Straight Up Pepperoni Wood Fired Pizza– PHP 350.00 +
They have this pizza bundle (only PHP 749.00 for 2 pizzas with free Heineken beer or iced tea pitcher), and you must grab the opportunity to order it. The Pepperoni pizza was good for 3-4 persons already and it was not a disappointment. The crust was fine.
Stella’s Margherita Wood Fired Pizza– PHP 390.00 +
This was our favourite pizza from Stella. We enjoyed eating it “meat free” style and the roasted tomatoes tasted great. Additionally, the taste of the garlic confit was a perfect complement to the Thai basil leaves. I suggest that if you are ordering the pizza bundle, get 2 of this instead.
We were so happy to be here at Stella and Rocket Room and yes if you would notice, Team EAT’s a Small World is complete!
Before entering the restroom, we noticed this big work of art, made from melted candles. Very interesting.
The restroom was clean and tidy. It was not that big but at least you can do your “business” here in “complete surrender”.
It’s best to eat here at Stella and Rocket Room with friends and families. The place was super cozy and refreshing (specially Stella). There are lots of food choices from the menu but we definitely recommend the pizza bundle. For 749 pesos, it was a great deal already! The pasta was super delicious so don’t miss it.
The drinks they serve from Rocket Room were super refreshing and sulit. We are definitely checking them out again on Wednesday nights because I already heard about “Guilty Pleasures” and felt super curious about it. Usually, from 8pm onwards, they will play classic beats, retro and funky music and I can’t wait to join the fun and dance to the music all night.
