The Yard Xavierville is a food park in Katipunan QC that has become the home of unique and Insta-worthy food concepts. From burgers, pastas, steaks and international cuisines like Korean, Japanese and Mexican, they have it all for hungry foodies around the metro. This month, they just turned 1 year (Happy Anniversary!) and they have invited us to taste their new offerings and stalls that will surely make people go back to the place.

The Yard Xavierville could be overwhelming to those who are visiting for the first time. However, the good thing here is that almost all your food cravings might be available (may it be burgers, sausages, pasta, seafood, steaks, ice cream, etc) because there are lots of stores inside.
One of the food stalls that captured our attention was Sandwicheese by Banapple. They mainly sell sandwiches like Grilled Cheese, Cheesy Roast Beef, Hickory Shredded Pork, Chicken Caesar but the Chili Frankfurter was remarkable (premium sausage served fresh with mozzarella and parmesan). Loved the buns as well and the roast beef + cheese rice! Also, we are declaring them as the “friendliest food stall” (so far) in The Yard.
They also have “Crunchy Wonderwings” and it was so masarap! By the way, their Banapple homemade brewed iced tea was super refreshing!
We were also able to try Bacon Avenue’s burgers and we’re impressed with their extra juicy patties. I heard that it was stuffed with cheese. Yummy!
Another crowd favourite, Prawn Star serves fresh seafood like crabs, prawns and mussels. Their salted egg prawns are definitely recommended.
We liked it so much because the seafoods are fresh and super tasty. A total value for money!
For those who like Korean food, try Little Wondang’s specialties like the Pork & Beef Korean BBQ (DIY Samgeopsal) and Korean Hot Pot Noodles. On this photo, we also discovered that they offer our favourite “Bibimbap” (variants: classic, tapa, longanisa, tuyo).
Who wants some Japanese food? Come and check out Takami. As from what we heard, the owners wanted to veer away from the traditional Japanese dishes offered in the Philippines so they came up with unique concepts to excite foodies. One of their bestsellers is gyoza and indeed, it was delicious! We loved the overall combination of the sauces on top plus the dash of black sesame.
They also offer cheesy bacon okonomiyaki, torched cheesy bento rice meals, yakisoba and takoyaki.
When we asked one of our friends on what would be their favourite dish in The Yard Xavierville , the first thing they mentioned was the Chasu Bao from Kilo and we couldn’t disagree! The barbecued pork inside the bun was really tender and mouthwatering and we can’t stop craving about it.
For those who are craving for traditional Filipino street food, check out Puluts.
We tried their Sisig Rice with egg (not the original serving size) and it was so bitin so I got 2 cups. (lol)
Another delicious treat coming from Mac ‘n Chicks: among their bestsellers are buffalo, sriracha and honey garlic wings. We would love to pair it with a bottle of beer!
Congrats to The Yard Xavierville management for this successful event! And happy 1st birthday to you guys! Budget per person will be a minimum of P150 and will actually depend on your appetite, cravings and hunger level. My recommendation is to spend around P300 – P350. It would be best to go with your family or barkada to be able to taste most of the unique dishes that the stalls are offering. At night, the mood becomes more festive especially when all the lights are on.
We will definitely go back for more variants of Sandwicheese by Banapple, Prawn Star seafood delights and the Chasu Bao from Kilo.
By the way, I heard that they also have more branches from Pasig (The Yard Underground) and five more branches are opening soon:
- The Yard Street Food Cinema at Timog in July
- The Yard Campfire at Westborough (Laguna) in September
- The Yard East Bay (Sucat) in October
- The Yard Arcade at Araneta in December
- The Yard Centennial Cavite soon
I can’t wait to visit them all as well!
