I really love Tokyo Tokyo. It’s always my “to-go” restaurant whenever I need a quick and affordable Japanese food fix especially tempura, rice bowls and karaage. Yesterday, we were surprised by their newly launched product “TOKYO WINGS“. These new favorites are available in three flavors: Spicy Sriracha, Black Pepper, and Teriyaki. Join us on our new discovery and check out what would be the crowd’s most favorite!!!
The Black Pepper wings are plain and simple. It’s the kind of chicken wings that I will order if I’m playing safe and don’t want to explore different flavors. It’s not the crowd favorite but the familiar and earthy taste definitely felt like home. I am sure I will order this again as it’s best paired with rice. Also, it helps enhance the flavor of the vegetable misono.
The second flavor is Teriyaki. It has the usual Japanese sweet flavor plus a little bit of spice. The chicken wings are sprinkled with sesame seeds, leaving a nutty and satisfying aftertaste. It’s good even if eaten alone (without any side dish).
Last but not least, my most favorite is the Sriracha flavor. I mean c’mon, everybody loves sriracha! It’s the best thing that you will eat today because it’s super legit and spicy (not that much). Also, it’s tasty and full of flavors. It complements the fried chicken wings very well.
The 4-pc Tokyo Wings + rice and veggies Bento Meal is sold at P180. There’s a 6-pc Tokyo Wings variant that’s sold at P200. For bigger orders, you can try the 12-pc box as well (it can be served with 4 pcs of each Tokyo Wings flavor).
What are you waiting for? Try the Tokyo Wings now and let us know what flavor you liked most! Post a photo on Instagram or Facebook and use #eatsasmallworld !
